Re: POPULAR MODIFICATIONS for Z3
Thanks for all your responses last year on giving my 1997 Z3 some simple upgrades & mods. Sorry for long delay in replying but every man's nightmare grabbed me with the big C. So spent most of the last 10 months in a Lymphoma unit. However, out now & ready to play with my lovely Z. So to tak...

Re: angel eyes headlights upgrade for 1997 Z3
Hi there, Well, I'm motivated to change current ones primarily because front lens' are degraded. Then when looking around for replacements, a friend said why not upgrade to angel eyes unit at same time. So I guess I would look at both options with the need to polish up the current front lens' with s...

Hi there, Has anyone previous experience of upgrading a late 1990's Z3 headlights with Angel eye units? I have a 1997 in great condition but the headlights are close to "unfit for purpose" in bad weather conditions. Any tips on what types to buy / wiring conversions needed / part numbers e...

CUTTING LOUVRES INTO BONNET
Hi all Z3 owners. I have owned a 1997 Z3 for about a year now & just love it. Looking at creating it slightly retro 1960 look for it because I consider the general body style & bonnet suggests that era. So has anyone tried cutting louvred vents into their bonnet or seen it done, in the style...

Re: EASY FIT ROLL BAR WITH WINDSHIELD
I think the hoops you are referring too will block the lid to the storage compartment, not that that is a problem, mines just full of junk. you could always remove the box and fit a subwoofer in the space (keeping the lid in place). im sure I have seen a few members cars with this type of hoop fitt...

EASY FIT ROLL BAR WITH WINDSHIELD
Hi there. I have just joined zroadster.net and am interested to know if any of you have already bought & fitted a "cosmetic" type of roll bar with windshield? I've seen a company (Deluxe Automobile) in Germany advertising them for around £280- sterling & they claim they are easy to...
