In need of sill panels in cosmos black

Hi all, I have some bubbling on my sills that I've noticed getting bigger. Started to grind back realized there is a lot more than I thought. Been thinking of sourcing replacement panels but it's a headache trying to find them let alone is cosmos black! Does anyone on here know where I could get my ...

Re: Calling all non lowered Z3s without wheel spacers!

Stock ride height over here! Can't go any lower otherwise I'd scrape her belly where I live! Although the new rims with a different offset give a more sportier look (now 18" 255 previously 17" 225) love it! :) https://c1.staticflickr.com/4/3802/32036635964_aa07533f24_z.jpg 2017-02-13_01-54...

Re: Heated mirrors

I've noticed that only one of mine works (left) which makes pulling right onto the dual carriageway on a cold morning a riskaay move due to the fogged up glass. Are both of them meant to work? how does one go about investigating?

Re: Ignition upgrades?

Replaced my set a couple of years ago – I think I paid something like £60 from GSF. I changed because I was getting a resistance reading from one cable (not the longest one) which was slightly higher than the others. To be honest it’s not something that gives the feel of an obvious performance impr...

Ignition upgrades?

Hi guys, I'm now up to date in terms of maintenance. During the past few months I've replaced the drive belt, cps, 02 sensor and other stuff and I'm starting to look in to some possible upgrades for the m44. I've looked into strut braces but they are quite hard to source but I came across some perfo...

Re: Air Filter compartment foam lining

I believe it may be for sound deadening purposes. I removed mine too when I was doing my fogged airbox mod a while ago.. Didn't notice any change in sound as I was already in awe of the extra performance that the mod produced!

Re: Camshaft Position Sensor

Same for me bit the bullet and bought at BMW Dealers, tried after market via ebay and very quickly learnt the lesson of only using oem parts. Hope your exhaust sensor is a known make I replaced mine with Bosh from Europarts, not cheap but worked correctly first time. Yeah I got mine from Europarts ...

Camshaft Position Sensor

Hi guys, I've been in the process of restoring my 1997 1.9 Zed and recently I've started replacing some sensors. I have an oxygen sensor on its way and I currently need to replace the camshaft position sensor. At the moment I'm having a hard time trying to source one that is genuine and not an after...

Sudden, scary power loss

Hi guys, I'm currently an extremely proud owner of a '97 cosmic black 1.9 Z3 as of March this year :) .I've given it a hell of a lot of TLC recently and have been fixing a few bits and bobs such as the alarm system and other stuff. It's an absolute dream to drive but I have one little issue that hap...
