Re: Lpg Z3??
LPG used to be cheap in New Zealand, but alas no longer. I worked for a bus co. who converted the whole fleet of Bedfords to run solely on LPG. If you wished you could do the same and remove the petrol tank. The politicians got into the act and taxed it to buggery so it's no longer a viable option h...

All fixed and working  With the aid of an old bowden cable I was able to thread the aerial coax from the back to behind the LF seat. with my same old cable I fed it through the trim on LH side of console and poked the extension coax through ,tuck it under the trim and join it behind the seat. I finally got into this. Replaced aerial in the same place with a nice chrome extending one. Still not working. Got a new 3 metre coax and hooked it up over the car with the hood down. Everything works great again. Now how do I pull the coax through its original channel? It seems that the cable is c...

Help[! radio aerial removal Z3.
I've pretty well found that the poor reception of my radio is caused by faulty aerial or associated wiring. As suggested, I disconnected the coax from radio and fitted a spare aerial I had and held it out the window. I worked as well I would expect it too being only hand held. Now can some kind perso...

Got a 1999 2.8 Z3. It goes really well apart from the fact that the radio don't work. It's a replacement for the original. I don't know. My 40 year old Triumph still has its original springs with no sign of damage. New Zealand roads are probably rougher than yours too. Sure our springs lose their tension but never seem to break.
Maybe today's springs are harder.

I plug mine direct to the battery and shut the boot. I figure with the thin wires and the rubber boot seals, it won't do any harm. It hasn't so far. It's an electric charger though.

Being a curious b.....d , why do you run on LPG ? My experience running vehicles designed to run on petrol on LPG has not been great. I'm talking of mostly commercial ones. Apart from a bit more torque and possibly a bit cheaper running cost {over here in NZ anyway} what do you achieve ?
