Re: Have I overpriced my car?

I did an eBay search for “2000 convertible” in cars for sale, lots of variety and prices, Z3’s do appear at much higher prices than most, possibly the reason for low interest compared to what else is available. Some people are starting to see the Z3 as a classic model, hence the higher prices ? Ult...

We don't know the mileage or just how good it is. So all I can reflect on is for the money that's taking you into 3.0 territory so maybe that has an impact. 63,300 miles & two previous owners with excellent history. All that info. is in my original ad. As I say I don't generally talk my cars up...

Steve its a buyers market, whats the year and mileage on your car then compare it with others of the same for sale to see what others are pricing their cars at. Yep, start at the bottom. Make sure you position the replacement window inside in, unlike me on my first attempt! It's not exactly difficult, just be prepared to have to start over a few times. Count the teeth or make a mark at your starting point each time, to adjust it on your next attempt. Like ...

Re: Rear window disaster!

Fitting can be quite daunting as neither of the zipper parts has an end piece. Therefore, the window may not zip up properly should you not start on the right tooth. Do not force it. Being methodical and counting which tooth you start on will make this job much easier. As to how long it takes? As l...

Forgot to mention a 12v Wind generator, when the brother in law got rid of his boat I rigged it up outside the garage and fed it to the car. The Z3 is off the road for the Winter. I've got a solar trickle charger & just wondered how to attach it to the Z3. I use it on other cars by attaching directly to the battery but on the Z3 I noticed it has charging/jump points in the engine bay. Will the battery charge if I connect to these? Al...

Change the gearbox oil, check what yours takes, some use ATF, may be a label on the side of the gearbox unless its fallen off over the years.
