Re: New front wing

I'm glad you are pleased with the outcome, and don't feel too bad about the costs - I had mine done in February for a lot more than that. In spite of the extra expense, one thing they forgot to do is apply the grey PTFE tape to the inside trailing edge of the wing (where the door slides up). I've on...

Re: Rear Lights

Compact
Are they the older version, or newer with fog lamps built in?
If 'newer' I'd be very interested in the left one - please ping me if so.
Thank you

Re: Need help with this sliding part for window

I can't guarantee results, but it might be worth giving Kabbert of "www.z1-online.de" a call on: Germany 0 23 71 45 33 4; as their catalog lists: "Fensteranschläge in PVC für die Tür links und rechts (insgesamt 4 Teile) Bei BMW nicht mehr lieferbar. art. nr. 900027"; which may be the part you need. ...

Re: Z1 Technical Day 2017?

@Sam - thank you for the financial encouragement. @jet - thank you for the door advice. Panel removal is a bit beyond me at the moment; perhaps after the technical day. Although the front wings are a new priority, slight cracks forming around a top bolt. I read the post "plastic types for body panel...

Re: Z1 Technical Day 2017?

Thank you Jet LHD has been v easy so far, but I am re-running in the engine after 5 years SORN, so haven't tried to overtake anything yet. The early miles have taken a bit of toll on the doors tho' - leaving them open has led to scratches already. Any top tips on how to avoid this? (keep them v. cle...

Re: Z1 Technical Day 2017?

Jet has kindly pointed out that if I am to join you on the technical day, I should at least introduce myself first (thank you Jet). Firstly, a pre-Christmas rush of blood is how I came to join the Z1 owners group. I'd fancied them since university, saw one for sale at Munich Legends and managed to c...

Hi, as a new Z1 owner I'm very keen to join your Technical Day. Is there still space? and is it May 20/21? Thank you, Toby
