Hello Pat,

Emmanuel is suggesting exactly the same, to hold the engine, and lower the front subframe.
This part is unique to Z1 and welding properly done is reliable.

I agree, BMW fuel hose is definitely much better quality than other hoses that you can find on the market. For the Z1, you need to buy about 2 meter of fuel hose + some specific hoses cut and bent with a specific shape. I did that 2 or 3 years ago and as far as I remember, all thoses parts were "fre...

Hi, I used to replace coolant every 2/3 years, sometimes 4 but not more so you prevent any clogged circuit. I have never heard about this "new generation stuff" before. I would also change the water pump while you are doing the timing belt, it's just 3 more nuts to remove and sometimes the bearings ...

Condition of the car is quite poor :bawl:
FTW did the owner do with the car to make such holes in the seat and the leather ?!?

You can find cars in much better condition, with half mileage around 18/20 KEUR (vs 14.5 here)
Sometimes, it is better not to buy "the cheapest"...

This unit can drive CD chnager in the trunck via a big DIN plug.
It should be possible to arrange connection "simulating" CD changer. Unfortunately, I never succed to find wiring diagram for this DIN plug
