I would have to agree, my current choices are 3.0 Z4, or Boxster 3.2S or 911 (996) Cabrio. But everytime I walk up to the Z3 I must admit that the curves do look good. Though I do have a friend who has said that they would buy the Z3 off me the moment they have enough cash.... we'll see what the fut...

And here might be another dumb question, but can we insist that the bolts get re-fitted when we take the car in for a service.

I would love to be able to do this myself but don't have the space to be able to attempt these kind of changes.

Hi Shirl, Is it true that even a change in temp will set the alarm off. I ask because everytime that I have driven the car with the top down, stopped, put the top back up. The alarm starts going off intermittently. I did notice that if I simply switched the electrics on and then set the alarm again....

I have a similar problem, but my alarm only gets a mind of its own after I have been driving with the top down. The alarm then goes off 3/4 times before "working" again. I thought that it might be the boot sensor but haven't been able to figure that out just yet. Any ideas from the Z3 guru...

1983 Ford Escort XR3 1.6.....red with sunroof and spoiler :D . Admittedly it was 1992 when I got the car. Well finally the saga has ended. After promising me to have the car back in 1 day, they called back and said there isn't enough time and will getting it to me on Wednesday be alright :roll: What more can you do but say ok. WOW, I have had the zed for about 10 months now and have had to send her in for a MOT. No problem there then. Get a call from my new "best friend"..."sir, (i love the formal tone) your car needs to have front brakes and rear brakes replace :shock: , along with 2 new rear tyres :shock:...

Just as a heads up guys, make sure that the information is correct. I had to get them to re-issue the policy because they use the wrong model (1.9l instead of 2.8l), mileage was wrong and so was date of last service. A thumping sound....no not the radio

Hi, I have recently noticed a sound coming from the left rear wheel area when I go over bumps. But it is only there when I have a full - 3/4 tank of petrol. As the tank empties the bumping noise disappears. It also sounds a bit when I go around a roundabout. Any ideas...is this serious or can I live...

I have used it once, and it does look great. But driving back I was continually look at the weather and hoping it didn't rain. It takes about 3 mins to get off again and stowed. So I probably won't be using it too much.
