Re: Jonttt Imola II Red S54 Z3m Roadster Journal
thought I'd pop by here for a catch up.... Charlotte has just hit 60k now during a day trip to Dusseldorf to collect a steering wheel adapter for a Raid wheel - only taken me 12 years!!! She's not changed much in my 17 years of ownership apart from the rear quarter panel graze picked up last year in...

Re: Pay By Mile RAC Insurance
Thanks for the tip on RAC insurance. As I only do about 3,000 miles a year it sounded interesting, however I got right to the end of the Spanish Inquisition and they cant insure vehicles over 15 years old, high performance or premium cars or those with modifications...damn!! I'm assuming I fall into...

Raid Steering wheel adapter 160122
Hi all, hope you are all well and have been managing to enjoy your toys recently. I've owned Charlotte now for over 13 years and after much contemplation, deliberation and other long words, I have finally acquired a Raid steering wheel. It's probably a few back to back drives with my M3 and a couple...

Re: Charlotte not very well
After having to remove the strut brace and engine cover (only a 5minute job really) it would appear that no.5 coil pack is the culprit.
New one arrives tomorrow so we should be back to full health again.

Charlotte not very well
Charlotte has been laid up over the winter and this evening has developed a worrying problem. She has been started and run up to temperature every couple of weeks but not taken out since October always started instantly and run as sweet as the proverbial. This morning I took her out of the garage to...

Re: Charlotte
Hi Alan,
I have Schnitzer type III Racing split rims and asked Lepsons to give the outer rims as high gloss finish as they could. It was expensive at arounf £720 all in but the results are amazing and should be pretty durable too.
Will try to post some pictures.
Regards,
Daz

Just took Charlotte to be MOT'd and literally 100 yards from the testing station the ABS, DSC and Low Tyre pressure lights all came on yellow - immediate fail! Booked in for a re-test and started to drive home and they all went off! Whoopee thought me, just re-test and job done..... not so, just che...

Re: Charlotte
You may be pleased to know that Charlotte is getting some proper treatment at this very moment. Next will be a raid steering wheel (following Jontt's instructions to the l...

Refurbing / chroming 3 piece wheels
I had my Schnitzer type III racing wheels refurbished about 2 years ago and was initially very pleased with the job.
