Thanks for the tip on RAC insurance. After having to remove the strut brace and engine cover (only a 5minute job really) it would appear that no.5 coil pack is the culprit.
New one arrives tomorrow so we should be back to full health again.

Thanks so much for you advice and experiences, all very much appreciated. I will let you know what happens when I get chance to check the coils etc.

I actually rather like the Audi Quattro like sound track but will be very happy when its all sorted.

Hi Alan,

I have Schnitzer type III Racing split rims and asked Lepsons to give the outer rims as high gloss finish as they could. It was expensive at arounf £720 all in but the results are amazing and should be pretty durable too.

Tyres are fine - it's booked in tomorrow so will let you know how it goes. Just took Charlotte to be MOT'd and literally 100 yards from the testing station the ABS, DSC and Low Tyre pressure lights all came on yellow - immediate fail! Charlotte does have the 83mm pipes, front and rear struts but not sure about a third to make a trio.

have done this mod twice now and it does make quite a difference - really pushes you back into the seat.

It can create a little pressure under your thighs if you tend to have your seat further back.

I've had no problems with seat rattles or creaks at all.

Yeah, like the steering wheel. Have just been quoted £1000+ for a schnitzer wheel which is very hard to justify!!
