I headr on another forum that if your car is speced with run flats from April next year you must have run flats or your insurance will be void.

BMW Specialist Cars in Luton tyres usually put new tyres on all second hand cars unless they have seen very little use. this is reflected in the cost of purchase.

Mine did that about seven years ago. Warm air only blew into the cabin when engine revs were above 2500. BMW fitted a second water pump in line with the existing one for free to overcome the problem, which it did. This was not an approved BMW repaire or modification. But the BMW garage admitted that...

Does it blow hot when the reves are above 2500?

When I had a Z3 several years ago, a 'Second water pump' was put inline to help water flow. This solved my problem of having no heat at low revs. i wasn't happy that the car had to have a 'Unique Mod' fitted by BMW.

I asked 'Why an M badge?' That Z3 is a fantastic example of the car. All upgrades done very well. I would be well proud to own it. I would remove the M badges though to be 100% happy. Be happy with what you have, don't pretend.

I was very happy with my 2.8 pre face lift. never liked the rear wings and rear lights on the later ones. The lines on the body work just right on the 2.8. I had one for four years great fun.

I have this problem right now, and also had it three years ago. Had it sorted under warrenty three years ago, but it took about five days. Still with extended warenty so will give it to BMW again. you are right the 'Arial' which gets the signals from the sats isn't picking up a signal. mine does eve...

I had a 2.8 Z3 for four years and a new 3.0 Z4 for four years now. Go for the 3.0. Fuel cost doesn't come into it. I've lost £25k on my car over four years :( but I love the car.

Envelope symbol is saying you have text message on your phone, which you haven't viewd through the car bluetooth, even though you may of read the message on your phone.

Problem with this modification is that in a minor accident stresses can be carried to parts of the car that would not be affecteed without one fitted.

I had this on my 1997 2.8. BMW put a second in line pump to make it blow hot when stationary. The temp should be the same at omph and at 100mph.
If it is in warrenty get BMW to fix it.

Went to Specialist Cars Luton on an invite and was ignored for a full hour. First there last to be seen. Idiots. Car nice but I speced it to £46K. What would I get on top of my fully loaded Z4? Not much. I have a second car for winter and snow driving? So i'll be keeping my current car

You shoud have a small plastic arm at the bottom, middle of the storage door, which activates a small micro switch (You can just see it 'Silver in colour') as the door closes. You may of broken off the plastic arm, or the micro switch may of stopped working.

I did the change three years ago from a Z3 2.8 to a Z4 3.0. I loved the Z3 but the Z4 is an improvement on drive, the stero and toys. I have never looked back. Apart from the fact that I have lost a lot more money.

I repaired my wiring loom with push together spade terminals. Almost all the wires went in the end. Not a tidy solution when you have the boot lid open, but saved £s
