Called coopers thames ditton just now, and asked for a second apinion - Engineer advises me that E36 models don't have code-unplug which retains the memory so it wouldn't be possible to correct the mileage reading after a instrument cluster change. Than called Sytner City about Big Red's suggestions...

My Z3 M E36 rev counter keeps dropping, i took it to the dealers to get it checked out and they came back with "yes - we've found the problem but you'll need to replace your instruments at a cost of £396 !!" I gave the go ahead cos warranty direct would fork out 2/3 of the bill so that was...

Slip differential on M Roadster
Has anyone been advised that they may be a fault with their Limited Slip Differential, esp on a '98 M Roadster ?
