Thanks for all the nice comments :) No, I'm not going to going the police in Canada (just yet). I had back surgery in October and it will take a long time to get up to 'fighting strength' again. We will hopefully both start jobs in a similar line of work in April. We are moving to Alberta. Working i...

Farewell
I have to say a sad adieu. I know I haven't been too active on the site for a while (except for some behind the scene modding), but it's time for me to move on. Shalini and I have finally, after 4 years of effort, managed to obtain our Immigration Visas for Canada. We leave for a new life on Tuesday...

To all the techno-geeks out there, some advice please on getting a new mobile. I'm with O2 at the moment, but would be willing to change for a good deal. Essex Midnight Madness Action!! Yep, I've been toying with the idea of a short cruise with a difference - a Midnight run (hence Midnight Madness) It would probably start at Birchanger services (J8 M11) and run through some lovely country roads, finishing back at the services or McDonalds at ...

One other point to consider.... Car thieves are now breaking into houses to steal the keys with much more frequency, especially as car security is getting harder to beat. A common course of action is to steal the car, park it up somewhere out the way for a couple of days to see if has a tracking sys...

Firstly, they didn't use TPAC. TPAC stands for Tactical Pursuit And Containment, which is one of the tactical options for pursuit management. The police vehicles were positioning into the 'boxing' move, which is part of PM, in case the subject vehicle failed to stop. The police have to use numerous ...

Wait till you get a real cold, bright morning. Get a hat and coat on, drop the top of your Zed and crank the heating up. Find a deserted B road and go for a blast.chris_mustoe wrote:Any opinions would great…

Gill, You need to look at what you actually want from the car, and how you're going to drive it. What sort of cars have you had before? The 2.8 has quite a lot of power and torque, especially if you've only driven smaller engined cars before. If it has power that you won't really use, what's the poi...

IMHO the matt black would look sh1te on a Z1. The matt black image does conjour up thoughts of wannabe gangstas tying too hard, and trying to have the biggest 'look-at-me' car. The Z1 isn't a big car. It's a small 2 seat sports car. Out of the two, I think the White with black trim would by far look...

I agree they really do tidy up the profile of the car but they are also a real PITA if you need to get the hood up quickly :( and then they take up too much luggage space. If you tuck the ends inside the middle material bit, it should tuck behind the seats. If it's taking too long to remove, you ne...

Essex social meet?
Anyone fancy a meet-up this week somewhere in Essex?
Not a cruise as such, just a meeting of 'locals' for a chat and a coffee somewhere, to get to know other Zedders in the Essex area?
Don't really mind where, preferably somewhere easy for all. Monday or Tuesday evening?

I always had F1's until recently. The price of the new F1's was just stupid. I went with the Falken 452s as well (on 18's) after researching this and other websites. I was a bit dubious at first as they seemed a bit skittish to begin with. However, like the F1's, they needed to bed-in, it just took ...
