I use Chemical Guys Jetseal 109, 2 coats and the dust can't hold on.

Just clean with ordinary carwash afterwards. (Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II)

Early Z4's didn't have the roof open function.

I suspect the noise you hear is something else. Can't remember what but you get the same thing in Mini's and other BM's.

The Auto Glym Soft top package does a good job. Clean and Protect.

I had black plates on mine for a while, the officer who caught me said there was a problem with my plates (before i got out of the car) I said, "Oh? which ones have i got on, the black ones. Sorry i must have left them on after the gathering at the weekend, and i don't drive the car very often....

And who did you get to fit the non runflats? I was going to get a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2's from Costco (they have a 20% off offer at the mo) but they refused to fit them :( Thanks. There is an option for an AUX in for the Business Radio, which is a cable that plugs into the back of the stereo giving you a mini jack (headphone type) socket.
If you search the forum, i am pretty sure there are some instructions on how to install it. The part number is: Part No: B65.12.0.153.502.

I would be interested to know what 'manual' shifting (i.e. pushing the lever forward or backwards) is like with the SMG compared to the 'normal' auto? For the SMG it feels like a standard manual gear change, only much faster, most people only experience a jerky ride if they don't lift the gas pedal...
