Original BMW Z1 windscreen
Long storey short, broke my original windscreen . BMW replaced it and did such a poor job they had to replace it again so I ended up with a practically new screen that I have no idea what its worth. I'm about to put it on ebay but i've been out of the Z1 scene for so long i've no idea what its worth...

Hi 31, I dont think its badly wrong. I would not remove the microswitch and plate assembly because the position of the whole plate is quite ctitical. Dear Teatray, got me thinking! Is there any resistance at all when the button is pressed even with different key positions in the barrel? Does the other button feel differet on the other side? Do the emergency door latches work by turning the key?My gut feeling is that this is NOT a serious problem....

Hi Guys I'm with Paul on this and I wouldn't swap the control modules. Both the inside door pull and the ouside door button actuate a two stage micro switch just below the door motor. I was wondering if the mirrors are heated? Is it only the movement of one mirror that causes the fuse to blow?
