the superlight would be very cool - have got a new mondeo tdci - am pretty pleased with it so far - 8000 miles in the last 10 weeks - not bad given teh price of fuel now!

Thanks Jon - it is in good nik - would love to keep it but cant justify it.

there is an independant in chelmsford that you might want to consider using - they charge a lot less labour that BMW stealer - only about £50 per hour - let me know if you want contact details.
I will keep an eye out for you around braintree !

The radio alarm switch is found at the back of the radio aperture in the frame that supports the short pin that protudes from the back of the radio. Alan, I have the same problem - although I did have the brakes stripped and cleaned up last year by my indi - they say that they have set them back to BMW recomendations - but I still get this problem. Am interested to know what you find out.

from what you have said it does sound like ball joints and / or shocks, I had a similar problem last year.
If you are changing the rear top mounts - consider replacing them with the //M version, as I was advised to by my indy.

get online and pay on the dvla website - once they have taken your money you should be covered - they told me to put a note in the front screen.

i believe that the reason he chopped in his //M was because he moved in with the missus in a town that leaves him with a much longer drive to work.

was looking at the GT i-drive range - they seem to have some decent bikes - a mate has also told me that he can get Cannondales at trade plus VAT - so may have a look there.

its quite normal - Z3s are very susceptible to tramlining - a front strut brace will help reduce - but is unlikely to eliminate it.
