May sound odd, but try a little wd40 first. Gently wipe away with a clean cloth. Then give it some leather cream to sort those cracks out.

Start any leather cleaning off gently first, I've learned this from past mistakes!

you'll probably find its not the exit part of the washer but the filters on teh black motors down at the water tank. unbolt the white tank, untwist the black motors and theres a mesh type attachment there. Sorted! Took the car to the local bosnians, they all sprayed some degrime stuff on the bonnet, hey presto. smooth as a baby's bottom.

Looks like its the good old household white vinegar option with copious amounts of hot water in a spray bottle. What about the stuff they use to take road grime off. is that acidic too?

Next door has just had their drive done. And yes, guess what, my bonnet has litle bobbly bits of cement on it i can feel under the chamois. Apart from maybe t cut or even a hot pressure wash...any ideas boys? Dont want to rub had as it may scratch? :head:

OK, the hard top is off and locked away, hmmm lets giv ethe car a full once over. Jet wash, deap clean lambs wool soaking, alloys detailed, full wax of each panel individually, soft horse brush of the red soft top....then two doors down..... Bloody concrete polishers arrive to do the neighbours driv...

yellow engine light on dash

hi there, I've had this in the past. it ended up being a split in the rubber hose just before the intake manifold. Easy to fix. cost £8 from bmw parts. its the wide rubber slinky tube bit. Approx 4inches wide. other than that it may be a simple diagnostic reboot, or a oxy sender. Check for air intak...

Well Done fella, mine has it too, and it is simply brill. You need to go on a long run through Myrtha tydfle, best road I've ever found myself lost on. Perfect cambers and no oncoming numpties. then back to LOndon through the New Forest with the roof down :3litres rule!!!! :)

Engine light sensor.

First, check all the rubber air intake hoses for splits. If this isn't the prob, then you may need new sensors on the intake and exhaust.

Using silicone spray could be a goer, but wouldn't a dab of Vaseline work too?

Being a bit tight, as Silicone spray's £5 on screwfix or ebay. And as most old hands would know, there's always an old tub of Vas about!

Hi Earpy, Both colours are fab, simply a personal choice! One thing I do understand tho' is that the Blue will be easier to clean, but the black seats are more forgiving on marks etc. Basically the extras are just what they are, extras. Heated seats aren't imho necessary, def not cruise, never used ...
