There is no oil pressure gauge on the M (apart from the yellow light),but has a temperature gauge which is very important in not driving hard until the temperature is up to the required figure. Depending on the mileage you can have a vanos service but can be expensive but not as expensive as a new e...

Hi Miller. Dont like the sound of the engine flush. Did you get the right grade of oil for the M engine. If you havent driven the car much the vanos tends to be a bit noisy as mine was but after a few drives it was ok. If the oil is too thick it will take to long to get to the vanos, hence the corre...

Hi Phil, another welsh zedder, the small key you should have turns the alarm off under the bonnet, you shouldnt have much trouble when the battery is working. The alarm is to the right side of the engine and has a plastic cap covering it. any problems let us know.

Going back to the glass issue, when i was shown around the B.A.S international factory in Cwmbran that make soft tops for most sports cars, the guy told me they had been working on a glass screen for the Z3 and found it impossible to make, although they do ones for Porche and other cars.

Hi Wyn. Firstly there is no such thing as limp mode. the light could be coming on because of a loose or dirty connection by the caliper. There is no way you lose power when the light comes on unless you have a faulty or dud battery. You say the hazard lights are flashing when you lock the car, do th...
