Not sure about how many (depends on the camera and what the actual resolution is) but as memory cards are becoming so cheap, I would say get one just in case. that way you wont be caught out with a full card and something unmissable to take snaps of ?? prices on ebay : 64 MB £13.50 128 MB £11.50 256...

It depends on where the site is hosted and what was going on there, If the hosts are having tech problems then anyone using the site will get slow responses, or nothing at all. Commercial hosts normally sort these things out pretty quickly but slow responses rather than no response can take a while ...

Its eight per seat but Doug Sends ten in case you over sand etc (they come thicker than needed so you can sand to a perfect fit.)
