You could argue that the last few S54 engined cars were a facelift compared to the earlier S50 engined cars Not sure if there are any changes to headlight indicator lenses and other minor tweaks. My partner has a 2010 E93 3 series 335i with 7 speed DCT transmission, the engine is N54, later models use N55

Engine spec is 306bhp with 290 ft/ibs torque, can be tuned to 400 bhp

How about using the N54/N55 3.0 litre engine and DCT gearbox from an E9x 3 series

I bought some of the plastic covers recently for my E90, they were very loose and I didn't fit them as they would have come off almost instantly.

This type didn't fit the OEM locking bolt as it doesn't have a hex head.

A standard set of bolts on ebay are about £18 per set

He changed the TPS on the front of the engine.

Mine used to go into limp if it revved over 7000rpm, switch of ignition and all was ok until the next time.

Changed all sorts of sensors and it was the O2 sensor on the exhaust, my Indy also suggested changing the Throttle Position Switch at the same time.

Don't forget to erase the codes.

Usually HB4 and HB7, check the glass at the bottom of the headlight, it will be there.

I use BP Momentum in the MR and CSL, the acceleration is noticeable.

What really gets my goat is paying 13p/litre extra over normal unleaded.
