Thanks for the comments. The inside finish is just black painted and not a good finish at that, so needs some attention at some point.

When driving its noticeable how low the rear window is. Im average height and cant see to the horizon through the mirror.

Hope its ok now. I think its unlikely to be the CAT. They don't do anything at idle, only fast idle when the CAT gets hot enough to do its stuff. Your readings indicate its running rich at idle. That could be the MAF. Its worth check for air leaks in the induction or exhaust too.

Gazza - good point about the fuel cap. Lesson learned :? pingu - yes I may just end up spraying the whole car. There are defects on every panel to some degree so its a way to get it all right and the colour match right too. I may not have enough paint though, but if I get another litre from the same...

Excellent job. How will you match the paint with the rear of the car? Have you got a paint colour meter (they don't come cheap)? I just got standard code 309 paint and I cant tell yet what the match is like to the rest of the car. I will know when the hardtop goes on. I was hoping there will just b...

In years gone by I have done a few spray jobs on cars - panels and even full resprays. The quality was usually average at best due to lack of knowledge, experience or inadequate equipment.
