Re: Front Grill Removal

Thanks for the information, I didn't like the idea of hitting it with my hand which normally ends in injury! So I decided to get a short length of 2x1 piece of wood, and place the wood on the grill on the bottom corner, and then tap the wood with a hammer. First tap tap tap, then a bit harder, then ...

Front Grill Removal

I know that there are 6 clips at the rear of the grill do these clips pull out or twist to remove them, or do they not come away from the grill itself?
Any assistance would be appreciated, I'm having the bonnet sprayed so thought I'd remove the grills to help the painter.

Have a look at these

The clips are glued onto the door card and then you push the other end into the metal of the door to keep it secure.

Re: Polybush help in North West

If you decide to go down the Powerflex route I've heard that the ride is a lot stiffer if that is what you want then fine. Even replacing the original rubber bushes will make a big difference, as the ones on the car will be worn by now. It's down to how you want the car to drive like.

Mine is a 2.8 and I love it every time I go out in it. I wouldn't worry too much about high mileage providing that the car has been looked after. There are a few cars on this site with over 200,000 miles on and still going strong. A lot of the time the car you buy is down to your personal choices, s...

On my car there are two sencers one at the top left and top right of the windscreen, so the alarm covers the cab area. The little Red led on your dash is a switch if you push it in it turns them off, and if the switch is in the out position they are active with the alarm. Hi Fender thanks for info ...

I Bought one of the bean bag things to keep the Tom Tom on the dash so it does not mark the window, so no one knows that you have used a TomTom as there is no mark. Hopefully giving someone one less reason to break into my car! http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/drive/accessories/ Looks a good idea though
