You could always list it on pistoheads, eBay, auto trader etc to gauge the market and if you don't get what you want then you don't have to sell. I've looked at the carbon fibre ones from an eBay seller in Germany and they look good but I've not got round to buying one yet. Also they are around £40 from Germany.

Had a lovely drive from Macclesfield to Chatsworth today with top down all the way. Over the Cat and Fiddle and then through the winding lanes to Chatsworth and then back via Buxton.

On days like today you can't beat top down motoring.

As rain stopped play on car cleaning I had a search of the interweb and came across http://www.trimmtech.co.uk/ who are down the road in Sandbach.

There is a comment off Peter Glynn who had a new Z3 window fitted. Is it someone off here or has anyone had any dealings with Trimmtech?

I've got a week off so intend on sorting out the rear window where the beading is coming away so any advice on how to do this will be appreciated. I also want to recolour the roof but need a garage to this in so I can leave it to dry overnight and will be asking the neighbours about garage space tod...

Usually they tell you that the cars is overseas but they will send it back to the UK at their expense if you buy it. You just have to pay the money into their bank account but hey will refund it fully if you don't like the car. Of course the car never arrives and you they become "difficult" to conta...

Hi I don't hunk you can buy he zip separately as I'm sure it's part of the rear window. You can buy and replace the window yourself and if you use the search facility there are plenty of posts on how to do it.

You can add more pictures to the body of the advert or a link to picture hosting site. A picture of any paperwork always works well in an advert.

I would be questioning the German and British plates. The last picture with the British plate looks a different colour. I would be asking for the VIN before going any further as it doesn't sound right to me.

Thanks Robert. I did come across this but wasn't sure if it was the gasket where the mirror sits on the car or between the mirror and base unit.

I assume that was my car you are talking about Robert. Thank you for sorting it out. I've moved the seat a couple of times and its stayed off. I'm now on the outlook for a d/s seatbelt tensioner so if anyone has one please PM me.

Window tinting not the Zed

Not for the Zed but for my other car.
Can any of you good people recommend a good company who can tint the windows of my CRV. I'm in Macclesfield Cheshire but will travel if the company are good.
Also if anyone has any advice on window tinting and what to look out for when getting this done.
