As to the single mum "profession", I really don't see why some slag getting herself knocked up is my problem, if she or her family can't feed the kid take it off her and give to someone that can and wants to. It's not your problem, nor are the worlds starving millions, child prostitution, knife cri...

Sorry Snoops..........a sad case of 'there we go again' as an extreme example of the abuse of the benefits system is considered the norm and i'll say again is exactly the reason the benefits system focuses on and spends millions on advertising to 'grass up your neighbour'! I'm not quite "getting" w...

JohnTTT Regrettably your view that a job offer that matches the salary of the benefits offer should be taken is one that many support. But having been a 'victim' of the benefits system, albeit back in the early 90's I believe it's such views that contribute to and prolong what is a difficult situati...

Slight thread hijack here but it seems like the right time and place to ask a nagging question.... :dunce: I found this forum last year when I thought I was in a position to buy a 'spare' set of wheels to have some summertime fun in. Just noticed the lighter blue colour where the battery sits! What did the owner say about this? I checked for the spare wheel so pulled it back to see the toolkit, but did not notice anything unusual, well apart from no spare wheel, but now know its under the car a'la Pug 205 etc. Hi Maccers, Nice ...

Z3 in Essex, have you seen it?

I joined the Forum some months ago with the intention of getting a Zed for the summer and thank those who gave buying advice. Due to a change in circumstances I never took the plunge but did go and look at this car.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1308335.htm It ticked a lot of my preconceived b...

Are all Z3's prone to the boot weld problem?

Is it just the bigger engined models?

Do the facelift/newer models still suffer?

Other than that it's spot on :head:

Anywhere else to look?

Still searching for a Z3. Further to earlier posts for information I pretty much know what i'm after but have been limited by rain, my wife being rushed into hospital for a few days and a shortage of places to look. I look at Pistonheads every day, plus Ebay and Autotrader and most of the other site...

Still looking but the rain put a damper on my intended search this past weekend. :( Talking to a mate who knows a little bit about motors and he asked a pointed question as I reeled off the list of options and engine sizes. 'Why did BMW bring out so many different engines with such apparently close ...

I've been scanning Pistonheads for a few weeks with a few quid burning a hole in my pocket and agree with the above.

Interior shots essential, the more pics the merrier.

PS: Sorry mileage is too high and silver is way down my list of chosen colours :(

ive got the 1.9 and i wouldnt say its underpowered and its every bit as much fun as any other zed IMO. I'm looking to buy a Z3 to blow away the cobwebs as I approach my mid life crisis 8-) So far i've not as much as sat in one but have been scanning various for sale sites to get a better idea as to which model, engine size etc., to buy? Here's what i've sort of worked out for myself but any comments ...
