Re: VW DSG Auto Gearbox problem anyone help?

Thanks. I don't think so. But cars only done 12,000 miles. Purchased from a London main dealer who'd first sold the car to a local lady. The suggestion being that the car had been used in traffic and that the gearbox learns the driving style and makes software adjustments accordingly. Was told it co...

Daughters car, 2012 VW Polo bought from a main dealer a year ago. Do you know anybody who's VW connected and can give some advice re the following? 7 gears, tiptronic and sports options. Android OBD App - Fault Reader

Has anybody tried one of these?

http://www.androidcentral.com/test-driv ... nd-android

Plugs into the OBD socket usually somewhere under the steering wheel but not 100% sure on the Zed yet....and apparently checks for faults or allows one to create a fancy 'dashboard'.

Better handling- where to start?

Having only ever driven my own Z3, barring 10 minutes in my brothers 3 years ago, I don't actually know whether I need to make any mods or not but where to start if I want to improve the handling? I ask as I feel much surer going at higher speeds in the wife's new Tiguan and even my old Citroen van....

Happened a couple of times, comes and goes... Wheels on full lock, right hand down when parking, a gentle whining sound from somewhere up front! Doesn't happen on left hand down? This continues when driving, at an even quieter level but still noticeable when steering at slow speeds. Any ideas? PS: I...

A note of caution. The rubber aerial grommets are different for facelift and pre facelift cars, each having a different angle underneath to account for the camber. I learnt the hard way :dunce:

The design could easily be traced in a computer graphics package and used to cut a vinyl graphic. Given a bit if time I could do this but your first point of call would probably best be a sign maker that's still doing plates. Many dropped out when restrictions were introduced.
