CAN I FIT ROLL HOOPS?
I have a June '99 2.8. It has holes fitted for a windbreak at 75cm but no sign of break out bits on the pillars for the fitting of roll hoops. Does anyone know what I'd need to do to get them fitted - or will it be a case of changing everything behind the seats, in which case I won't bother? Thanks ...

Looking at the prices asked for an MGB, realative to its new price, that SHOULD give us a value of about £300,000 for a 2.8, but of course the MGB is now an acknowledged 'Classic,' which means people can ask crazy money for them What level of Agreed Value do those with AV policies settle for? Just for a laugh, I asked Webuyanycar.com for a valuation on my car - an over-maintained and cosseted late 1998 2.8, with 120,000 miles and 2 owners (me since early 2000). The answer was . . . £895! Well, in a strange, individualistic sort of way, I quite fancy one. Not that I'd be seen driving the Zed wearing it. No, I'd like it for when I'm walking the dogs. You have to look the part when dogging. Mind you, for summer I wouldn't mind one of these instead: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-BMW...
