Removed mine earlier this year but unfortunately too late - scrapped it. Your part number should be 18101433388. Could try ebay - there are a few going at the moment (£120 to £200) but it is always a gamble on quality and if they will actually fit. Eurocarparts - they don't have any on their on-line...

Why not fit runflats :lol: Tim. Expensive way round it :wink: but If he is off on holiday to France then presumably boot and passenger seat will already be occupied. Only sure way then is repair/inflation kit and keep the spare incase of a shredder. I know that's what I'll be doing next trip. :thumb:

The cables for the seatbelt tensioners are interchangeable, a PITA to do but it would rule out the cable if when cleared the fault stayed with the passenger seatbelt tensioner. The DISA system was fitted fron September 1998, when the M52TU engine was introduced - hence it is not included in the Bentley book. Some confusion here Mike. This thread has also generated discussion on .org and it appears from comments there that they were fitted to M44's as far back as 96. Real....

Agreed - the system defaults to ON on start-up - also if the light flashes during driving then the system is controlling.

You can check the system with your BMTechnics OBD.
