2 hour drive to the Morgan factory for a pistonheads meet, look around the factory, admired a few cars, then 2 hours back again. Only downside was it was mainly motorway. Filled up last night and have driven about 230 miles - the fuel light is about to hit the red soon!

Yes, there is a drain hole to, a pipe inside the rear quarter which empties on to the ground under the car. This pipe is probably also blocked. Easily cleared with a thin piece of garden wire. I had to clear mine by pushing the wire into the drain hole and also by lying underneath the car and pushin...

Re: ACS hoops fitted and a little polish
I had been looking out for over a year, with no luck, then a set became available last Nov (ish). Bought them, took my original hoops out (seller wanted to swap + cash) and then the seller went quiet. No response from him for a few weeks and then eventually he admitted that he had sold them with the...

Fitted mine yesterday, expecting to have to use a bit of force, but they popped straight in. Only had to give a little tap on one side to even them up.

Reception on my oem stubby is ok where the signal is strong, but dodgy where the signal is a bit weaker. Doubt any of the stubby aerials are as good as the original (I wait to be corrected!), but they do look much better. A compromise as ever.

Shantybeater made a set of bixenon headlights for his z3m, which look very oem. If you read his thread the details are there, but the parts cost over £325 plus the original set of headlights, not to mention the time he put in to it.

If it is the 'sport' version, then it is a bit quieter than the 'race', bit still nice. There are a few you tubes comparing the sound from them which will give you a bit of an idea.

Try Classic Line or RH Insurance, probably best to phone them rather than get an on-line quote. You are correct, no ncb with either on a classic policy.

Dinan strut brace
Very nice looking strut that.. are they ridiculously expensive?
Bought it used off z3coupe forum - no longer appears to be supplied new by anyone in the uk, so was looking into buying from USA ($399 + delivery, import duty & vat!). By pot luck a used one came up for sale

Most people will be put off getting one by the amount of work you had to do, so that is going to keep it much more exclusive!
