We originally agreed on 1030 so if that's what it ends up being, then that's fine, but if people can make it earlier then we'll leave earlier.

Autofahrt reckons the M25 east is quicker for me, and that's before the roadworks are factored in.

And you can put it into sport mode without pressing the button. Just depress the accelerator pedal *quickly* (rather than just deeply) and it assumes you mean business!

I also feel claustophobic in a standard full face helmet, so on the bike I wear a flip top (like police riders). Mine are BMW System 4, but there's also Schuberth Concept and the latest BMW System 5 with integral Bluetooth. The least expensive in this category is the Caburg Justisimo at around £130....

The older auto transmissions had a shift lever that read P-R-N-D-3-2-1 (I think). For normal auto driving you stuck it in 'D'. If you wanted to override the gear manually you could stick it in 3, 2 or 1. The newer Steptronic box has five speeds. You can leave it in auto mode, or use a simple push-pu...

Long term classic, probably not, but the heat's been taken out of the depreciation so you'll do OK on resale if you buy at the right price. Problems with the softtop are far more common that anything else, so a new top is good news. I had the later S54 M Roadster for a couple of years as my only car...

I think the best option would be to check for the latest version of the board, see if it has an upgrade install facility, back up the SQL database and then follow the destructions and test Grandmothers, sucking and eggs come to mind! The sheer amount of customisation on this board means all upgrade...

Anyway, you'd be hard pushed to exceed the speed limit on many of the roads we will be using--I can't recall seeing a single camera on the mountain roads. 8-) 8-)
