Galloway - the new Braveheart?
I'm not sure about some of his history, but the guy certainly provided interesting television today with his verbal lashing of the US Congress Committee. He may--or may not--have some skeletons of his own in the cupboard, but there's no arguing with his central argument about the lives lost during U...

Sounds like brillo pads could be on the list as well! Don't know what colour 'navy blue' is--Topaz? You shouldn't really need something as hash as T-cut unless you have paint oxidation. Today's paints are covered with a thin layer of transparent lacquer called clearcoat. This protects the paint from...

You could involve BMW but your argument is really with the dealer. I think you should involve an independent automotive expert who will be willing to write a report and if necessary attend court. Your previous thread at http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=36769 provides an interesting pre...

Do I get the feeling that's a little down on last year? I have the figures for each year somewhere in a file. We were running at somewhere around 16-26 cars for the first three years which worked very well, then in 2003 the numbers were down to 13. We were concerned the event was fading, so for 200...

Mine are BMW System 4, but there's also Schuberth Concept and the latest BMW System 5 with integral Bluetooth. The least expensive in this category is the Caburg Justisimo at around £130....

The older auto transmissions had a shift lever that read P-R-N-D-3-2-1 (I think). For normal auto driving you stuck it in 'D'. If you wanted to override the gear manually you could stick it in 3, 2 or 1. The newer Steptronic box has five speeds. You can leave it in auto mode, or use a simple push-pu...

Long term classic, probably not, but the heat's been taken out of the depreciation so you'll do OK on resale if you buy at the right price. Problems with the softtop are far more common that anything else, so a new top is good news. I had the later S54 M Roadster for a couple of years as my only car...
