strong strut trilogy

Hi All, I am considering an mcoupe and currently have a z3 3.0i roadster equipped with the Strong Strut trilogy (front, butt and body). I plan on sell the z3 and keep the braces IF they are effective on the mcoupe.
Are they?

Yes thats a good point about the shade of black that will result from dying over red. Considering the dash color changes, perhaps I need to just be in the mcoupe for a period of weeks/months before making a decision. But it seems apparent dying leather is not a good option at this point. :wink: than...

Fantastic photo Mike....reminds me of my father's 1961 MGA....what he used to call the poor-mans Porsche. I have fond memories as a child of the whole family packing in the MGA for a short spin down to the beach....those were the days. :)

C_W, Yes as far as I can tell only the 'lip' is bent and the rim itself is unaffected. I think I read somewhere on this forum BMW intentionally manufactures softer wheel components to absorb shock and prevent the transfer of impact to other parts of the car. I have all three (body, strut and rear brace) on my 3.0i roadster which makes a tremendous difference in unifying the car as it winds around curves and over bumps. Although its bit of a financial investment, I highly recommend it. :wink:

Entertainment is spot on!! In this photo I had just finished installing the butt strut along with body and front strut....wow what a difference it makes to handling! Makes it difficult to sit and read all those books on the shelf! :wink:

Thanks AndyBass....it seems I have misunderstood the warm-up process for cars. I will change my usual sequence of allowing the idle to stabilize and keep the revs and gears low.
