The extension pole seems a bit extreme. If you position the spanner so that it is below the locking tool and push down on the locking tool and pull up on the spanner it will come undone.

That's where I jack mine from when I want to put the axle stands under the jack points. I usually put some thick rubber between the jack head and the bolts there so that I don't damage the heads. OBC or clock not working

I have the round OBC and clock combined but it is now not working at all. Tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery, I can't be sure when it stopped working as it hasn't been out much over winter. Has anybody got any further ideas please.

Agree with all regarding weed control fabric. Carefully take them apart as Del said and clean repaint as needed and then the fabric covers all the grille. Carefully bend the tabs back when finished.

Drive it onto some wood planks. I have a plastic drain can about the same size as a 10l water container and this fits under on it's side when on two pieces of 6x2.

A similar size tyre is available which is 125 85 16 which is 5.5mm bigger diameter so will still fit in the carrier or 125 80 16 which is 7mm smaller in diameter. Yes they are the same size. The tyre is the same size and the wheel bolts are the same 5 bolts 120mm spacing. Different engine I think the 3.0is had the N52 engine and the Z3 has the M54. I understand there is some restriction on the manifolds to clear the steering but that may be excuses.

There should be 2 small speakers in the door card top just above the grab handle and behind the mesh. As mentioned, most cars only have one, unless they have the top of the range stereo fitted, but the wiring is there for both. Apologies didn't make myself clear I meant 2 speakers one in each door.

From the wiring diagram I have the fuse 24 feeds the control side of the heater blower relay along with the heated washer jets and power mirrors. The white clips are available but the black plastic pieces that they hook into on the door cars get pulled off sometimes, they can be glued back on though but need time to cure if you use contact adhesive. Agree with all Mr Silver says.
If you intend to use the car on the track auto's are not good but with 5 speed they are very good now. Choice is good. Auto, sport and manual change, and you don't really feel the changes, and the latest 8 speed is effortless.

You can use this to see what effect changing wheels does to the outside position of the tyre.
