Hmmmm.....not sure wether they would suit the look of a Z3. I think they are replicas as well, the originals have motorsport on the inner ring in big lettering. Nice on E36's though.

Theres definitely a big divide in peoples likes/disklikes of in car tv's / screens etc. You either hate them or find them pointless(like the missus), or you think there the dogs danglies.

Regarding the blowers, its not the airflow i am concerned about, its the physical position of them, ie. the base of the screen needs to protrude far enough forward for the screen to be able to tilt back slightly. Interesting setup Fixer. When i first looked at mini-itx, only the high end versions that could take the faster processors were recommended for viewing video. How does yours cope. Also, where have you mounted the screen. Have you got any pics??

So....the missing keyboard is actually a bug, and is a bug that is present on ppc's with slide out keyboard, so beware when purchasing this. Early reports say that Tomtom won't release a fix, but because of so many complaints i think a fix is likely in the first update to tomtom5. Other than the bug...

I would agree with going with the garage that suggested the night before. Oddly, that was Benham Stockport who also quoted 300.00 I will have to get clarification from them. Anybody dealt with Benham for service? I think i was spotted there once by c_w...you must have used them. Thanks for the advis...

I have experienced lots of pinking recently. Happened when the engine was warm, at low revs, and occasionally high revs. But, whilst in the Lakes recently, Optimax wasn't an option so had to use BP Ultimate. I dont think i have had any pinking since.

Thats the one robin. No cruise control, but that didn't bother me much. The wet roads meant i had to be alert, but the wet was never bad enough to make it dangerous and everybody was well behaved. Awesome!!
