yes there is a post on here, some strips are waterproof, failing that you could always seal them in clear resin, I have some in the garden like that, been there for years and never leak.

I was reluctant to have mine changed, last time I had one changed, within 3-4years the frame around the windscreen rusted badly, im convinced it was the change of windscreen that started it and it didn't fit correctly.

think its a z4, I have gaps down here was wondering if I could fashion something similar for my z3, wasn't so bad once but then I removed and sold my hard top mounts and now theres a hole/gap

well, a lot happened with this yesterday, firstly the bmtechnics cable doesn't work with other diag software. I tried with my new laptop running windows 8.1 with no joy, so I decided to try my old laptop (not my laptop but my hard drive installed on an older laptop) now my son in law uses this lapto...

well he came, he saw, he says nope cant fix it, new screen for next weekend. so why did autoglass send him out in the first place, as soon as he saw where it was - no chance, I explained to the idiot on the phone where the chip/crack was but he insisted it could be fixed, numpty.

just got off the phone to swift cover, they say as long as its smaller than a £2 coin it can be repaired, so there coming around sat to fix it, we will see :lol:

you have a short to earth in your braking circuit, no point in spending on parts till you find it, try looping the brake switch out and see if it still blows, if not then its the switch, if yes it is further down the line, sometimes water gets into the 3rd brake light. if the switch is ok then unplu...

as soon as I get around to making my hoops, you can have my covers for free, though you will still need to buy the ones for the storage area :) oh yeh what colour trim? mine is beige

a lot of drivers say there autos use more fuel, I had a Honda auto before my z but it was the same as other Hondas the same model, however a friend of mine has an e46 1.8 auto and its terrible compared to the z

fuel is normal 95

are your sums correct, I get 13km/lt . m44 suppose it would depend on where you drive, mine is along country lanes and not that much town driving. well lucky you, my passenger door doesn't lock or unlock with the key, it tries too (the little silver sticky thingy tries to move) drivers side is fine so I have just left it :lol: hope you sort it though :)

I think the hoops you are referring too will block the lid to the storage compartment, not that that is a problem, mines just full of junk. you could always remove the box and fit a subwoofer in the space (keeping the lid in place). im sure I have seen a few members cars with this type of hoop fitte...

just do what I did, remove head unit and replace with head unit that takes sd cards, I have around 60 albums on just one card (it might be more) then I sold original unit on ebay for £60, result :lol:

exactly, its called wind in your hair for a reason (if you still have some). I fully understand if your on a long drive it might get abit much, just pull over and put the roof up. there that's better, then after a while you can stop again and put it back down :lol:

the tube diameter used in the roll hoop mounts? are they the same on both mounts ie post and floor points? not the actual hoops but the part that fits into the mount for a snug fit.
