Hi, i have been trawling the internet looking at various options for the above for my european tour im doing in the Z4 at the end of May. So far the AA do a good one , very detailed and will get the zed home if unable to repair it and supply me with a hire car + other extras. all for £65 for 8 days....

my 1.9 facelift is lowered 30mm on Eibach springs but with spax shocks. I got this pic which shows the camber compared to my z4 which has a 15mm lowered set up as standard as its the 3.0 . as you can see the z3 has the more negative camber. hope this helps. http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz31/ca...

Tim , i tend to agree with Ian, not sure if there is enough improvement to warrant spending the money. I think you'd only notice if you drive your car hard on a regular basis and im guessing you dont.

Always make sure the car is clean as the cover will scratch the paint as it moves in the wind. I have the genuine BMW Z3 cover and its a great fit so wouldnt blow about . i just use mine to keep the dust off in the garage. They are fully breathable and waterproof. They come up on ebay now and again....

no rubbing here, but guess it depends on what wheel sizes / offset and set up you have. I have 18's and are staggered.

do it right first time that would be my advice, even if you have to borrow a few quid.

I think you get what you pay for, some of the lower priced suspension gives a hard ride . I and a few others on here have gone for the Eibach lowering springs (30mm) and spax shocks. the springs are progressive so not to harsh and firm up nicely when pushed. not cheap about £500 for the set up but w...

there are some very good little mod's that you can do that add to the experience. Just bought a one touch roof close mod that works from the key fob too.

A Zed we have seen on our days out last summer, i forget the event, and was owned by jonttt's bro i believe.
Driving along in Chesterfield today and saw it on the forecourt.
Still looks a fine example.

I do think the original 1.9 bumper lets the front end down, too shallow for the look of the rest of the car. I think they look ok and the photo's dont do it justice , i have genuine acs splitters on mine but i changed to the big mouth bumper also. Mr TT you could always have one of these to match yo...

they are quite rare though, i got lucky too with my M seats and think they make the zed feel like a proper sports car. Same story with the Z4's.
It was one of the main priorties when i was searching.

I've heard it doesn't work with larger alloys and low profile tyres? I give up! When are you going to get that low profile tyres don't make any difference to the overall size of the wheel? :head: Wider tyres may not fit (e.g. 255), but the supplied bag should take any size wheel with a 225 tyre on ...
