To the best of my knowledge Bmw has not approved any triple qx oils. Meets the spec is not the same as manufacture approval. Mobil 1 0w40, shell helix ultra 5w40 or Petronas Syntium 3000av 5w40. Don't forget a good quality oil filter.Mann is what i use as they are oem recognised.

I didn't mean viscosity I meant brand. Despite what the weekend warriors say there is a difference. Cheap oil is cheap for a reason.

Aye keeping the wolves away. Stop in when your in the neighbourhood. Running a tidy 2.0 z3 the now. Will probably import another 5 over the winter. Interested to see this 3.0.

Straight forward as Gookah has displayed to leave it original or just take the whole lot out and blank the hole.Its redundant to daily running. Iirc I plugged a vacuum line and tied the wires up out of the way. Much tidier looking engine bay after.

I run staggered 68's on mine with 225/45 /17 on the front and 255/40/17 on the rear. You need to keep the rolling circumferences front to back and left to right similar to avoid unbalancing the abs and asc. I would not advise more than 3% front to rear and even less left to right. Which model of pzero is the question.
pzero or pzero Nero or pzero Rosso(3 types)or pzero corsa(5 types) pzero silver,pzero Nero gt,and the list goes on. The p 6000 is not in the same league as the pzero family. It's a touring tyre.

The Pirelli would also be a good choice. Their wet grip has improved alot in recent years. Previously were a good dry but suspect wet tyre but recent models have addressed the imbalance between wet and dry. The profile number is a percentage of the width. 30 profile is 30% of the width 285 mm. On the front the 35 is 35%of 235 mm

The rolling circumference of a 235/35/19 is 1951.61 mm the closest match is the 285/30/19 which has 1971.21mm. The same profiles don't mean the same rolling circumference. I would go with the Goodyear 285/30/19 xl.

Of the tyres listed I would always go with the Goodyear. used them on my 450 hp evo and on all forums get consistently good ratings. Excellent wet grip. As far as sizing goes other than N rating what does Porsche recommend. What size are the fronts as the difference in rolling circumference is over ...

They may have got the insurance bit wrong but price wise they are hard to beat. Besides if your using Nankangs , directional or not is the least of your worries.

It is not recommended to mix tyres on the same axle and also not recommended to mix part worn with new on the same axle.

The amp is there because the standard Bmw head unit is low wattage. When you fit an aftermarket unit usually 45watts plus the footwell amp becomes redundant.

Buy a decent 50w per channel headunit and bypass the footwell speaker amp. Job done and good sound.

I changed my wheels from 16 to 17 and the offset on the front from 47 to 41 which increased the pivot radius and the steering improvement was very noticeable.. Far better handling now . tyre width should not change the pivot radius. The centre line is still the centre line. Tyres don't change wheel ...

Why would you need a garage or to lift both wheels at the same time to fit spacers. No more involved than changing a flat tyre.

JJC rally. 15 mm hubcentric supplied with longer bolts. Do not get the spacers that bolt on to your hubs and then you bolt the wheel to the spacer. A search will show why.

Had it out for a run this afternoon. Handling is much improved. The car likes the 17's and I think the additional 5mm offset each side on the front has had a positive effect on the pivot radius reducing shudder. The reduced side wall profile is probably an influence also. So far a win win change. Ei...
