Looking on Ebay at E46 spare wheels indicates a variety of tyres for 16" rim ranging from 100/90 through 115/90 to 125/90.Just curious as to what tyre Tim has on the spare he bought and what would fit in the cradle. My spare wheel is in relatively good shape but the tyre will be well past its se...

What tyre size is fitted to your 16" rim? The standard fit for the Zed is 125/90 x15".I can't find any mention of a 16" spare anywhere.Fitting the wrong size of tyre would make the cradle unusable anyway.

I have today added my Zed to Aviva Multi Policy for £48.75.This is for 140 days cover until the multi policy renewal date.
This equates to around £130/year for comprehensive cover for two named drivers up to 6k miles and guaranteed NCD. 8-)

Remember that the rear window does not fold in the middle but about 80mm from the top.If you look in the well when the hood is down, you will see where the fold is.The abrasion across the centre of the screen is caused by the hood hoop when the hood is down.

As far as the duck egg blue is concerned,I had a couple of boot floor welds replaced just after I bought the car,and the BMW paint shop said they could not match the original duck egg colour but would somewhere near be OK.
