I use liquid leather shampoo and conditioner... not amazing on real stubborn stains but for a good all round clean it is great, the conditioner softens up leather to stop creaking or cracking and restore a vintage leather smell. I would recommend it to anyone!

In terms of removing the standard BMW connector block from the back of the Business RDS Headunit, it's not intended to be done by hand. If you look closely at the top of the lever which you pull up it has a diagram indicating to use a screwdriver to provide leverage.

If you're not fully clued up on Z3's, make sure you look into the facelifted model that occured later in '99, the rear end was revised to be more curvy with rear lights that slightly resemble those off the E46 3 series (they contain a step). Cheers guys, that youtube video is spot on... although I think I'll open my wallet to BMW and do the job properly with some circlips rather than solder the prongs to the inside of the door card lol.
