Most trouble I had driving my LHD Z3 in the UK was a couple of neds asking if I was American :) As much as I like my LHD cars, I wouldn't buy that one. If you're really after a 1.9, there's a nicer RHD on Autotrader, with hardtop and less miles, for only 300 more than the one you're looking for. Eve...

Your dealer is a right barsteward. Replacement radiator from eurocarparts = £110 + £50 labour at my ocal specialist's = £160, that's what I paid for one on my old Z3. Go get it fixed so you can at least use the car and then sue your dealer to recover the cost (small claims will take ages, but at lea...

I've stayed a couple of times in Hotel Meurice in Calais, it's in the city centre. Lovely period rooms and gorgeous food, good prices too. Make sure you get the breakfast in bed!!! There's full room service as well as a restaurant, the carret d'agneau and the salmon in cheddar sauce simply kicks a$$...

I admit, as with probably most people, I was pretty much convinced that all our industrialisation must have been causing havoc with the environment. Actually I was born and bred to think that way, being a late 70s child and all and I even felt guilty my 2.8 barely met EuroII regulations for emission...

You could well be right, I suppose my opinion comes from comparing prices of the 2.8 as they are of the most interest to me personally (that's what I drive). I suppose with stricter emission regulations linked to road tax now and also with the current rises in petrol prices, lower capacity engines a...

I drive my LHD Z3 in the UK and it's generally not too much of a problem. Some roundabouts require a bit of care as the 4 o'clock view isn't exactly the best in a Z3 (no rear passenger windows!!!), but again, you get used to adopting a more careful approach. The only real problem are the local neds ...

smartypants is 100% right. They f*cked up with the NHS and I'm paying to fix it, and also I may die in the process. They f*cked up in Iraq and as a result my mortgage rose by £50 a month, that money keeps me fed for a week at work. They f*cked up with the roads and now we'll all have to pay for it a...

Smartypants, if you're driving to Monaco, just after Grenoble, take the old national road to Nice, the experience is truly fantastic. I used the satnav to take me through it and it worked a treat, no reason to panic as long as you have a fairly recent map! I just asked it to take me to the central I...

yep, remember ebay prices are often higher than dealers', especially for new OEM parts... Lots of people there trying to make a quick buck or two. As recommended, check realoem. And of course, for reasons of credibility, this survey wasn't conducted by the safety came...

Well what can I say, I find it bizarre that the car would just go ahead and lock itself. It could well be the case that your control module has packed up and you need a replacement if the instructions I gave don't work. Basically the theory behind shorting the pins is that it emulates a signal being...
