I took mine off, used a rust remover sponge from Halfords and got them looking as shiny as new in about 15 mins, then painted them with black rust protector paint so I don't have to do it again.

Just been searching around, some disc manufacturers list the 2.8 as needing 286mm, and others say 300mm.
Was there an option to have bigger discs, or were they changed at some point?

I wonder if I can figure out a way to mount these 82mm bonnet badges on wheel hub centre caps - the Breyton wheels I have take 82mm caps, and currently using some cheap stick on vinyl badges, so they'd look much better with decent badges on.

I had the same problem with mine - someone at work suggested using a chef's flame torch to heat them up. Not had a chance to try that yet, I plan on soaking them in WD40 for 24 hours before I resort to setting things on fire!

you should only need the black box on the left (that's the actuator) but you need to pull the whole locking mechanism out anyway, so you might as well use that whole unit.

Yup, mine was the same when I bought it - you need to replace the actuator. Cost me £12 from a breakers, took about an hour to remove and replace.

Fitted some chrome door handle covers today. Not completely pleased with them, as the passenger side one isn't exactly the same size as the existing handle, and leaves part of the non-hinged section uncovered.
