Massive difference, you don't realise how bad the frequency range of the stock speakers is until you replace them. Half-way decent bass even before I installed the sub in the passenger side :)

Hmm I think I've found it, another site says that it's 61218353007 which is labelled Bracket, coopers stocks it as Bracket too for £8 but RealOEM has no record of the part number. I guess it must've been missed off their system, may aswell find out for £8.

The thing that took me quite a while to get used to is the fact that the steering wheel isn't centered with the seat, it's slightly to the left. You do get used to it though!

Warranty cover is out of the question on a 10 year old car unless you have a 3rd party warranty or similar. Assuming that the rear screen zip is intact and the leak is actually caused by the hood material coming loose from under the beading, then this is a well known issue and as you rightly mention...

Welcome! The squeaky clutch is the easiest fix of all those issues, a few sprays of silicone lubricant on the joint will sort it. Mine was driving me insane, and since I fixed it 6 months ago it hasn't returned.

I'd say you'd stand to make more from the sale by putting it back to atleast somewhat standard. You won't have any trouble selling any of those mods here, and you'll almost definitely get more for them separate than they'd add to the sale price if you left them on.

I haven't got the laptop I use to hand at the moment but if I remember right this was something to do with the COM port that the USB adapter is using. Indeed they will, any 16 pin KKL to USB lead with a BMW 20-pin convetor should work. As with all cheap electronics from China nothing is 100% guarenteed though. That said, I've never had any trouble with cheap Chinese crap off eBay, 60p iPod cables etc, might not be the best quality but usually does...

Did you spray the rubber tracks with lubricant too? My driver's window used to slow to a halt about two thirds of the way down but as soon as I sprayed the tracks it worked like new again.

I've heard the postcode thing before, but never had any issues with it. As you can see the old ones didn't have it and I passed the last MOT with them. The new ones are the standard font/spacing and have the correct reflective background/nonreflective letters so I don't think there'll be any trouble...
