I had exactly te same symptom last year. I topped up the brake fluid and clutch function returned for a few weeks, after which it recurred. The AA trailered me home from Devon and my local garage fitted a new clutch slave cylinder, since when there has been no problem.

For those that don't have TomTom sat navs: If you open the .itn files with a text editor each waypoint is in the format of longitude|latitude|name The lat and long have the decimal places missing. I sold my last car through Pistonheads to someone who paid 25% over the price offered by webuyanycar.com and clearly liked the car too. I also acquired my Z1 throgh Pistonheads and haven't regretted that (yet!)

The Z2 concept I knew about was more like an Ariel Atom, a 4 wheel motorbike supplied with two made to measure waterproof nappa leather jump suits to match the waterproof cowhide vehicle interior. I only heard of it as a concept but can't believe this red car is the result of that.

When I pressure washed my wheels, I removed the clear plastic cover from a couple of the roundels, I replaced it with clingfilm which I shrank over the roundels with a hairdryer, Regrettably I no longer have any other use of the hairdryer.

Do I understand that the venue is now fixed for East Anglia? Sounds good!

I don't think Mrs Clarkson owns the car any more. I understand it is the one that has been on almost permanent display at North Oxford BMW for a couple of years and that it now belongs to one of the staff. It looks as if it has had some TLC in the past few months; in fact it's almost as good as mine!
