I have something similar, but mine is disc wear. I have a brake imbalance because the disk is more worn at the top than the bottom. It is easy to feel by running your finger over the disk.

You're right, mine is also a 2.8 and listed as 15mm, so I would guess you use the 14mm and make it fit, but maybe this is missing from the listings. I cannot find a 15mm bush that matches.

I would say brakes is the place to start. Pads are good, but won't help with fade if they get seriously hot. Some grooved disks would help, don't think a big brake conversion is worth it until you have tried it on the track and grooved disks and uprated pads are not enough.

I used realoem to check the size that they list, but that may not match the size you measured. I used the 24mm ones for my 2.8.

Most common reason on other cars used to be wind blowing in through the air vents, but that probably doesn't effect these cars. Maybe change the air flow to the demister setting and see if that helps.

Any cone should do, just stay away from foam filters as they can wreck the hot wire MAF. You might get an air box from a breaker, but that may be more expensive than an ebay cone. The ebay ones are usually ok, but K&N is best.

Did mine yesterday and can definitely tell the difference. I changed the wishbones and drop links, but was to lazy to cut the old bushes out. It was another £63 for the brackets, but saved all that cutting and faffing.

Replacing front wishbone, ARB bushes and drop links

Going to do this in the next couple of weeks with a mate, but would like to know the torque settings required for the top nuts on the ball joints, and any others that might be relevant. Can't find anything in the TIS docs for this.

Cheers

It can, but I found Eurocarparts to be nearly £10 cheaper on the same sort of oil. I use them both to compare, but would never use Halfrauds if I can help it. I am using Valvoline 5w30 at the moment, find that Castrol stuff just a little too thin and degrades badly over 6000 miles.
