Because in October 2006 I was living in Russia so it was logistically difficult plus back then the price was more than I could justify.

Indeed. Although, if it was me and I wanted them, I wouldn't be drawing attention to them on the one place where there might be a number of other people interested! Or at least not until I'd bagged them for a decent price!

Are the centre caps hard to get hold of?

I got an agreed value insurance pay-out of £18k on the green Z1 last year, and that had 65k miles on the clock.

Given my current one has just 35k miles on the clock, I went for £20k agreed value on it. I paid £17k for it in July last year.

I tried an E92 M3. It didn't do a whole heap for me, weirdly. I actually preferred both the 1M and the 135i to it.

M5 is on another level though. Stupid amounts of power and it sounds epic. Definite shades of Lamborghini.

It's not just WBAC that take the michael.

I just sold my 330d for a not inconsiderable £3,100 more than Vines of Guildford offered me in part-ex!

Moreover it sold within five days of going on Autotrader so I obviously got the pricing spot-on.

As can be evinced from the above post I made, my Z1 has the BTB exhaust fitted. It looks nice but really is a trifle too muted for my tastes. Why that should be so becomes entirely clear when you peer inside those beefy-looking tailpipes and realise they are just shells and contain weedy little peas...
