put new wishbone bushes in the 2.8 today ,much easier than i thought 1/2 -3/4 hour at the most. it really does make very noticeable diffrence,gave both cars a quick wipe ready for some top down action tomorrow

It's buy no means what you could call warm but at least its dry,so the plan on sat is to drive one and a half hours to the OK diner in leominster for a burger ,My buddy has dusted off his triple rotor cosmo and his wife has an eclipse and i think we'll take the two Z3 .lets hope it stays dry

Ok the bases of the rack a need rechrome so when i take it off do i change from its origional position and turn it ,we never use it os the wifes undies are in no danger of hitting me in the head

Just read in another post about a boot rack allegedly fitted the wrong way around .Which way round is right?the logical way particularly on a very sloping boot is for the ridge at the bottom

Went shopping today" Bbrrr cold sweat"so to make it easier i offered to let the better half drive the 2.8 as we have had a few people asking about it and it may be sold shortly,although i'll be sad to see it go and even we wont get a fortune for it 99 2.8 done 95k.the prices that sold ones...

Wow i cleaned my car today,theres so many faults it would never get to that standard without a full respray even then i dont think it would be as good as that.But thinking about it, if it was that good i would never drive it

good thought, but the noise appeared before the spark plug change , actually the noise seems to be getting better i think it was the engine flush,the oil came out pretty dirty I'll give it another oil change shortly and see how it goes

Has this noise just come after the flush and oil change? I'd recommend changing the oil and filter again too.. Could be the vanos unit if noise from front top of engine. Rev to 2.5k and on drop off would sound like a marble in there to some extent. But it would do it at idle and not just on load. P's Ignore the water temp on an /M as advised above and just go off oil temp. That's exactly what it sounds like...

I dont think its a bottom end, the noise is from the top of the engine maybe the vanos ,it is very cold here -4 today the oil is the recomended grade but it felt very thick this morning when i checked the level .I noticed a vanos kit on sale here is it worth considering?
