power window
My passenger side power window keeps coming away from the track and binding so it won't go up or down properly. I removed the door card and it seems to be only at the bottom back part where the glass pops out of the bracket. Does anyone know how its meant to be held in? Can it be glued back in place?

My 2.8 has had the exact same issues with milky residue on the cap. A problem of short trips i believe. Seems to be quite a common problem without any troublesome problems. Not sure if anyone else also has the symptom of steam, (not smoke) coming from the exhaust even on slightly warmer days. Just c...

tax has to come from somewhere and the most used products are fuel, alcohol and cigs. As the number of smokers reduced then the alternative is to increase tax on the other main consumable, fuel and alcohol. It's ashame that the increase in taxes on these products hasn't really affected the quality of...

wheel question
Will 19 inch alloys fit straight on a 2.8 with no rubbing etc. The car has original height suspension. Also what combination tyres would you need for 19 inch wheels?

Below you will no doubt find lots of posts about the fact that it's your car and you can do what the hell you like, which of course is true, but you asked for opinions.... True enough, i did. It's fair enouh too, everyone has their point of view. Mine was i'm not sure, but i tend to think it would b...

Having a 2.8 version i was thinking of (and at this stage only thinking), putting some M version badges etc on her but i'm now wondering if it's a bit silly as it's not a M version. I do like the little extras they have though. Opinions please. I know when i had a GT Celica it was not really an appr...

It's simply overkill on policing IMHO. Purly revenue based. Private plates here are a complete ripoff. For instance In Countries such as Australia you can have whatever you like as a plate, up to 7 letters or numbers, as long as no-one else has it. The last i knew the price for any private plate was...

Did this today. Works brilliantly and yes it's a very simple fix to do. The only advice i would have is to be carefull removing the broken parts from the seat. The bottom one on mine came out easily but the top one was difficult and due to force put a small tear in the leather. Fortunately not enoug...

What are these wheels i have spotted. I first thought they were M6 but they're not the same. If anyone knows what they are or where to get them please let me know. I think they suit the car.

diy seatbelt guide fix
I've been looking at different fixes for my guide as it's startin to be a bit annoying. There's quite a few different ideas if you search but besides the ultimate of having it properly done then this is imho by far the best, and even better was thought of by a good old Aussie :puzzle: http://www.bim...

2nd to 5th
Hi, has anyone got or had this happen? When the cars cold and changing from 2nd to 3rd the stick springs right over to engage 5th gear. When she's warmed up fully it seems to run as you'd expect and only spring over th 3rd. Nothing major i hope but it is a tad annoying.
