Re: HELP- suspension problem
- firstly is it ok to run the car on a standard setup but with the springs changed over? iv heard some people say its okay and others disagreeing but would sooner get some advice from some valued members on here. You can get away with it for a while, but its not a good idea. The lower stiffer sprin...

I didn't realise the S54 passed US emmisions! Didn't it get a detune down to 270 bhp or something? :rtm: A. US versions of the S54 have different exhaust headers that allow the catalysts to be placed closer to the engine for reduced emissions. I think it only costs them around a 10hp loss. If you l...

CD changer A is what you need to go with that Tape head unit. It mounts under the hump. The alternative location is in the rear right hand corner under the lip by the rear light cluster. the changer still mounts horizontally and has a carpet cover. I believe this is only for the iBus CD changer AI. ...

Hmm, not sure I entirely agree with you here. I like the idea of stimulating the economy with an incentive to buy new - the scheme certainly made my mind up to buy new rather than nearly new. I find it strange that the criteria are based upon age rather than condition. If it really was an environme...

The way our roads are looked after is disgusting how do scandinavian countries and russia and places likethat cope? Surely we should just copy them? There is nothing wrong with the scappage scheme itself. This is just a dealer getting creative within the rules. A former boss/friend had one of these built for him and shipped to California - http://www.superformance.com/mkIII.aspx. It had a Ford V8 fitted, a 427 I think. It also had all Ford racing parts fitted as well. A real monster that made the ground shake.

Re: Z3 Coilover Kits (With normal Shocks/Springs for rear)??
I've noticed Z3 coilover kits only seem to have coilovers on the front? The rears tend to just be standard shocks and springs. Are these just poor kits, or is it just this way because BMW used the E30 suspension? NO. Some of the most expensive and highly rated kits (TC Kline, KW, Ground Control) fo...
