If I were taking a 10 year old car to a main dealer for servicing I would worry that they gave it to the apprentices to 'practice' on.

Far better to go to a small respected indy where they value your business.

CD changer A is what you need to go with that Tape head unit. It mounts under the hump. The alternative location is in the rear right hand corner under the lip by the rear light cluster. the changer still mounts horizontally and has a carpet cover. If the new wheel/tyre combination are the same pysical height as the opriginal then the car will not sit any higher.

A former boss/friend had one of these built for him and shipped to California - http://www.superformance.com/mkIII.aspx. It had a Ford V8 fitted, a 427 I think. It also had all Ford racing parts fitted as well. A real monster that made the ground shake.

The BMW alignment is a process where they add weight to the car first to simulate passengers and luggage.

Can you see any uneven wear on your fron tyres?

Befrore you fork out on tracking, try swapping your front left and right wheels over and see what happens.

Maybe you have a leak contributing to more moistuer in the car than would be usual. Have you checked the carepts all over to see if there are and wet/damp areas? Does the car smell musty?

FWIW, the colour/VIN info I got from my local dealer came from the German mainframe. He switched to this because the first two (import) VINs did not show up on the BMW UK system.

I can go ask tomorrow if you like, but would need some data to go on. what info do we have about this missiong VIN?

Why do you want these? I have then and they do not work very well. You still need to get out and wipe with a rag to clean. They also make washing and waxing the bumper more awkward.
