Re: Afternoon photography
i believe you can make a pseudo-HDR using one image and changing the exposure on the computer, but it wont bring out as much detail in the darks and lights. should still give the surreal effect though. I would never advocate downloading photomatix from somewhere dodgy like the pirate bay, where it i...

Thanks .
I used Photomatix to produce a genuine HDR from three bracketed photos (different exposures 2 stops either side of correct). Using a canon eos 500D.

I love the effect of the HDR. before processing they just look like any other photo.
Do you do it from one image or take three exposures?

Afternoon photography
Inspired by Gazza's post http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=350357#p350357 with some amazing HDR pics, I spent a couple of hours creating some of my own. Re: New York art
The lens quality makes a big difference, plus probably a lot of computer wizardry, but having the camera set up like that will help a lot. A longer exposure time means a smaller aperture (if its exposing for ages the hole has to be small to prevent it just being over exposed). The main effect of a s...

its HDR imaging. I played around with it a few years ago, its quite fun to do. Needs an SLR camera, take three identical photos with different exposure lengths then merge them together, the short exposures capture the details in the light areas, long in the dark, so when merged (in a program like ph...

Once removed, can you take it apart, just leaving the base thats the part that goes rusty ? These are attached to each other pretty permanently from what i can see, and there ...

It was hard to estimate a price as there's none on there. I would have paid up to about that if there was one for sale when I bought mine, but like you say, if there's little interest then it won't go for much.
I guess we'll find out when I get round to putting it up!
Cheers.

I'm always impressed how shiny z3's are, even compared to brand new cars.
