Buy a lint roller or if you have some wide masking tape knocking around tear a strip off and stick it to the hood, give it a good rub to make it stick then rip it back off. Repeat this until you have covered the enitre hood using more masking tape when it loses its tack. I find this method brilliant...

OK guys I will start looking into a RR day probably around April time. Another location possibility is Manchester at Awesome who are a very professional outfit who have plenty of experience of BMW's.

I will put a post up in the Events section in the next few days to guage interest.

I would also check your rear anti-roll bar drop links, I had mine pop off on me recently and although I had not attributed this to my car tramlining when I fixed the drop links whilst also doing the the rear shocks the tramlining almost disappeared so I would give them a check. Most Z3 though suffer...

No Leeds is fine... many thanks :) I have been there a couple of times for RR days the last being at the end of Nov' where my 2.8 made 195bhp pretty much bang on the money really for a standard car. Paul does know his stuff and gets very good results. I was thinking of organising a RR day for zroad...

Yep, Zed carer is perfectly right as mine is an October '98 build and has the double vanos engine, I believe BMW stopped the single vanos in the Z3 in September '98 and swappped the to the double in October. If you do a search on Realoem you can play with the build dates and see the differences.

Think yourself lucky I had my car serviced last week and my mechanic found 3 of the tyres had screws in them, luckily I have a spare set of alloys/tyres so only need to get one repaired for the time being, Funnily enough though none of them were going down.

Problem is they only have really small bags of 5/10g whereas you need a bag of around 500g to be effective in a car.
