Totally agree, had a 50 mile blast around London and Essex late afternoon with the top down of course,surprising how many soft tops you see with the roof up in ideal top down weather.

Working out the figures from the Gaydon trip - 60 litres/13.2 gallons/316 miles = 24mpg

Which is not bad for a 2.8, fast motorway/ fast lanes driving
