I just found out that I have a z3m front bumper installed on my standard 2.2i Z3. This means I cannot have foggies. So, now I am looking for the black plastic insert for the passenger side that directs air to the brakes. If someone has one I would appreciate it!

Hi, That is the emergency petrol cap lock release strap. If the central locking does open the lock then you pull on that to do it manually. Make sure you change the two small o rings on the shaft that hold the oil filter in. If those fail you open yourself to issues. Should be done every oil change.

The 2001 2.2i comes with 225x50x16 wheels and I am thinking of changing this to 225x65x16. Why? 1. to give the car a couple of cm lift 2. increase side wall to make the steering a bit lighter with more 'give' or free play 3. may assist with tramlining which can happen on bumpy or irregular surfaces ...
