Job for the winter is to tidy up the spare wheel carrier and replace the wheel which has rusted away to nothing. Guys, finally got this fitted yesterday. Had to remove the Oil Pressure sender so I could get enough access to tighten up the securing bolt. Basically I got the block with the senders pre-installed. In this configuration it will be impossible to actually tighten the bolt which holds the block in place without 1st removing the inlet manifold !! I might be able to mount the block running vertically and will check to see if this is possible...

Bits have started to arrive for the console conversion... Z3M console - to be wrapped in brushed aluminium effect 3m DI-NOC vinyl. Before wrapping I'm going to grey prime and spray with some leftover Arctic Silver from my mirror repair. This will hopefully help avoid any 'red' peeking through around...

Thanks for the help guys, looks like MS 41.0 for MS 52 is the correct option. Checked the memory and no errors reported so looks like everthing is fine.

Right, looks like I've got this working. Connected the laptop to the car and when I turn on the ignition the Battery & Ignition indicators go from off to on. I have pressed Shift F9 for older models and from the E36 list I picked Body and got some results back from the Airbag test. I am however ...

Just back from a weekend in Skye and the mirror was perfect so it's officially been 'fixed' ! Well chuffed as this has saved me some cash and hopefully will inspire a few more repairs by other Z'ders. Weather up here was fantastic...we did a total of 450 roof-down miles over 2 days and the car didn'...
